Kindness of Krishna: Baby Krishna Buys Fruits Welcome to “Divine Tales,” where we delve into the enchanting stories of kindness and love.
Today, we bring you the heartwarming story of Baby Krishna.
One day, a lady Fruit Seller came down to the road in front of Krishna’s father, Nanda Maharaj’s house. She called out,” If anyone wants fruit, please come out and take it from me!” Nanda Baba and Yashoda Mamma came out of the house and bought a basket of fruit in exchange for a basket of rice.
Little Krishna also wanted some fruit, so he bought a hand full of grains of rice, but his hands were so small that he could not hold onto the grains very well. So he dropped most of them as he walked.
Kindness of Krishna:
When Baby Krishna reached the fruit seller lady and wanted to barter a couple of fruits, hardly a few grains were left in his hands.
Lady Fruit Seller, with a heart full of kindness, doesn’t mind. She fills Krishna’s lotus hands with fruits as if the proper payment had been given.
The Supreme Lord, appreciating this pure gesture, works His divine charm. He transforms the remaining contents of her basket into valuable jewels. The fruit vendor, not expecting such reciprocation, receives a divine gift. It’s a testament that sacrificing for Krishna never results in loss.
Moral of the Story: God/Ishwar appreciates each act of selfless sacrifice, of donation, of kindness, however small it is. Good karma never goes unnoticed.
The essence of kindness and the act of donation carry profound benefits, echoing the timeless message of love from Krishna. The act of selfless sacrifice, irrespective of its scale, holds a special place in the eyes of the divine.
In the philosophy inspired by Krishna, the Supreme Lord, each act of kindness and donation is appreciated. Even the smallest gesture is acknowledged and valued, forming a testament to the principle that good karma, no matter how humble, never goes unnoticed.
The universal message is clear: Ishwar, or God, values and recognizes the purity of intent behind acts of goodness. This principle underscores the idea that sacrificing for a higher cause, embodying generosity, and practicing kindness contribute to a harmonious existence.
